These terms describe the basis on which HealthToad is provided: a free, informational website, used at your discretion, with content that belongs to the site and calculations that belong to you. By using the site you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, please do not use it.

What HealthToad is

HealthToad is a free informational website offering browser-based calculators, trackers, timers and articles about general health topics, including hydration, body metrics, movement, sleep and nutrition. The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranty of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. Fair use of the site

You may not copy substantial portions of the site's text, reproduce its tools or articles wholesale, present its content as your own, or use automated systems to scrape, harvest or overload the site. You may not use the site for any unlawful purpose, attempt to interfere with its operation or security, or misrepresent yourself as affiliated with HealthToad. The site's name, design and original text are protected as applicable by law; the standard formulas the tools apply are, of course, public knowledge, and your own inputs and results are yours to use as you wish.

Your responsibilities and our liability

You are responsible for the inputs you enter — including using the correct units — and for any decisions you make from the results. Because calculations run in your browser, results are not checked by us, and we cannot verify whether an input was accurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HealthToad is not liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from reliance on its estimates, from incorrect inputs, from temporary unavailability, or from content on linked third-party sites. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, nor affects your statutory rights as a consumer where those apply.
